Swisslog Healthcare, a prominent provider of healthcare technology solutions in both medication management and transport automation, has named Cory Kwarta as its CEO. Kwarta, who was previously appointed as CEO of the Swisslog Healthcare – TransLogic division, will now oversee the entire global organization, including both the TransLogic® and Medication Management divisions. Additionally, he has been named a member of Swisslog Healthcare’s Board of Directors. Cory Kwarta’s appointment reflects his 15 years of service with the organization and his commitment to improving efficiencies in the healthcare industry.
Swisslog Healthcare’s TransLogic division specializes in custom-designed pneumatic tube systems for healthcare facilities, automating the transportation of materials within these facilities. The Medication Management division focuses on helping healthcare facilities automate and manage pharmaceutical workflows, including preparation, patient-specific dosing, delivery, and storage. Both divisions aim to reduce operational costs by reallocating personnel to patient-facing activities.
Cory Kwarta holds a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Denver.
